Master bedroom footing layout. Tony excavating foundations.
Twelve inches below natural grade minimum. Batter boards and string lines.
   
For perfect measurement and perfect square.
Master bedroom 3’ above living room finished floor.
Foundation stair steps up the hill. Concrete is poured at 4 ½ inch slump.
Concrete is thoroughly vibrated.
Vertical dowels will attach stem wall to foundation.
String line and plumb bob precisely locate the building corner. Finished floor is the top of the batter boards and the concrete will be poured to finished floor level.
 
Master bedroom stemwall forming is complete and squared.  
Block out to provide space for anchor bolts. Concrete is poured all the way to the top as we go.
Stem wall concrete is poured at a 41/2” slump.
Block out for bedroom door.
The concrete truck chute loads the LULL. The LULL reach-over tractor pours the far side of the master bedroom.
   
   Block out for 6”x6” steel post base in foreground.
